PATCHWORK

Dan Yeffet

Serendipity brought the Patchwork collection of singular vessels to life. This collection of contemporary vases and bowls may seem to be a simple idea that marries pure mold-blown vessels with a patchwork of intricate geometric glass sheets. What is less evident is the unpredictable nature of the molten glass patches.

Upon discovering the challenge of coordinating time and temperature to bind the patches with the base, designer Dan Yeffet left a part of the creative process to chance. Instead of designing every detail, he designed a framework within which Veronese and the artisans could spontaneously choose the patches’ textures, colors, and layout.

Dan was curious about what could arise if he welcomed a certain degree of creative freedom into his design process. The results are thrilling. The Patchwork Collection is a testament to Dan Yeffet’s and Veronese’s love for adventure.

The Patchwork collection will be produced in “unpredictable” batches, with each unique piece numbered, and never to be reproduced.
