Duchesse

Veronese

A contemporary re-interpretation of the “French-style mirror”, “Duchesse” takes up the codes of these mirrors with a large pediment whose decoration (leaves, geometric patterns, etc.) is made up of a multitude of finely cut glass elements, beveled and applied to a carved wooden support. Unlike its models, “Duchesse” inverts the pediment to bring it into the mirror, thus giving rise to a subtle beveled glass lace at the heart of the mirror.
